WELCOME TO OUR PARISH

Welcome to St. Rose of Lima. Our parish is committed to following Christ and being the instrument through which Christ works in our community. We are a small and caring family where it is easy to meet and get to know each other.

"I have found a community here where I feel I worship with friends."

Father Duncan MacMaster, Deacon Dr. Chris Coffin and our parish community invite you to connect with your Catholic Faith and visit us.

Welcome from Father Michael Walsh, Pastor

This is what God asks of you:

"to do justice,

and to love tenderly,

and to walk humbly with your God.”

Micah 6:8

WELCOME TO OUR PARISH

Welcome to St. Rose of Lima!  Our parish is committed to fulfilling the mission Jesus Christ entrusted to His Church to make disciples of all nations.   We seek to be a caring community where the gospel is the foundation of our relationship with the Lord and one another. The words of the prophet Micah summarize what we understand this to mean.

Father Michael Walsh, Deacon Dr. Chris Coffin and our parish community invite you to walk with us as we strive to live the mission of the Lord.

Welcome from Father Michael Walsh, Pastor

Since 1884 from our beginnings as a mission church, St. Rose of Lima has been serving the people of Fall River, Waverley, Windsor Junction, Fletchers Lake, and Wellington.

Presently our church, with two other communities, Saint Bernard’s, Enfield, and Holy Cross, Middle Musquodoboit, will soon become St. Brother André Bessette Parish.   It is the hope of our Archbishop, Most Reverend Anthony Mancini, that bringing the gifts of these three churches may better enable us to fulfill the mission Christ entrusted to his church to make disciples of all nations.

Meanwhile, please use this site to find information about St. Rose of Lima Parish.  I hope you will find in our community a place that helps you grow in the love of the Lord and one another.

Through acting justly, loving tenderly, and walking humbly with the Lord who loves us beyond our imagining, may all of us be the church God desires us to be.

Yours in Christ,

Rev. Michael J. Walsh
